Strategy Framework
Developed from the acronym EMPOWERS - eight pillars that shape how we grow together as God's family.
Our story is a living testament to God’s unwavering faithfulness and grace. It began in 2003 with humble beginnings, a small gathering of passionate campus students, united by a deep hunger for God and a desire to grow in His Word. What started as a simple student fellowship, grounded in word and prayer, has since blossomed into a church family. Today, Grace Chapel International stands as a beacon of hope, impacting thousands of lives across generations, discipling champions for Jesus Christ.
This was a defining moment for Rev.Godfrey Mburu. He had a call to establish a local congregation where every member was involved in missions and support to missionary work. The ministry began with a focus to discipling champions.
We made a significant milestone in our journey by officially registering under Section 10 of the Societies Act, in Kenya
We moved to Kiambu Road, at Thindigua. The inspired strategic move positioned us to reach the communities around Nairobi Metropolis.
We celebrated a major victory – establishing our permanent church premises.
Our Founding Pastors, Bishop Godfrey and Pastor Pauline J.K Mburu responded to God’s call with a clear vision to disciple champions among the university/college students and the professionals. With over two decades of ministry experience and a strong foundation in biblical teaching, they have faithfully led the ministry from its inception, establishing a family church rooted in worship, discipleship, evangelism and empowerment. Their leadership continues to shape the church’s mission and impact both locally and beyond.
